Fisher-Price, in conjunction with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), recalled more than 24,000 3-in-1 High Chair to Booster chairs sold exclusively at Target stores nationwide.

To date, the company has received one report of a seat back detaching which caused the child to fall and suffer a skull fracture.

The seats can fall backwards from high chair frame if the booster seat release is unlatched while the child is in the product. Also, the seat back can detach if not fully snapped in place, posing a fall hazard and risk of serious injury to young children.

The recalled High Chairs, which convert to booster seats, have a product number of P5369.

CPSC advises consumers to immediately stop using the recalled chairs and to contact Fisher-Price to obtain a free repair kit.
